Send Checks Anytime and From Anywhere
Whether you're looking to pay bills, send cash to friends or family, or transfer money from one account to another, it's becoming more common these days for bank transactions to be made electronically. However, there are still times when writing a check is an affordable and convenient way to send funds.
When writing a check, you'll need to fill in the payee's name, account number and check amount. Then you'll want to write a memo line to specify the purpose of the payment and include your signature, which is legal proof that you've agreed to pay the recipient the listed amount.
You'll also need to make sure that you have enough money in your account to cover the amount of the check. Otherwise, your check might bounce and you'll have to pay a fee from the bank.
Mobile Deposit with the A+ FCU App
Our mobile app, available for iPhone and Android devices, makes it easy to skip a trip to the branch or ATM and deposit checks right from your home. Just take a picture of the front and back of your endorsed check and get a transaction confirmation.
To deposit a check using the mobile app, you'll need to have an A+ FCU account and be enrolled in Online or Mobile Banking. You'll also need to have the proper phone type for the app and make sure your device's images are clear.
